Are You Prepared For An Emergency

Why Prepare?

If you have paid any attention to the news in the last couple of years, you are aware that disaster can happen at any time...often with little to no warning. These events will likely leave you in a situation where you won't have access to electricity or gas. This will limit your ability to heat food and sanitize water. The Volcano will help you be prepared for such situations.

Why the Volcano ?

When planning for a way to cook and heat during an emergency, there are some basic considerations that need to be made in the decision process. What fuels does it require? Is it efficient? Can I take it with me? What can I cook with? How many people can I cook for? Will it work in any weather?

check_box Efficient - The Volcano's patented heat chamber creates an efficient heat with very little fuel.

check_box Portable - Unlike heavy and bulky Stove types, you can take the Volcano with you. Without having to decide what to leave out.

check_box Versatile -Propane, Charcoal, Wood. Cook just like in your own kitchen. No need for specialized, expensive outdoor tools.

Prepare with a Volcano

The Volcano Collapsible Grill is perfect to have on hand for any emergency. It is the only stove  that has the versatility of  three different fuels: propane, charcoal or wood.  Its patented heat chamber makes the stove extremely fuel efficient.  A 20 lb. bag of charcoal has enough fuel to cook at least 25 hot meals any time, anywhere. (Use only in well ventilated spaces.) Setup is easy and takes less than a minute. When you are finished, you wait for it to cool, turn it upside down, shake out the ashes, wipe it with paper towels and place in the included storage bag. Portable. Easy. Efficient. Versatile. The Volcano can do it all.

OTHER COOKING METHODOLOGIES
We get asked all the time about the Sun Oven. We believe the Sun Oven is a great adjunct to the Volcano. But, consider a couple of things.

1. The Sun Oven - as cool as it is, works best on a sunny day. In Utah (where were are based) we get about 125 sunny days. That means if the Sun Oven is all you have, you might be fasting about every other day.
2. For about the same price as the Sun Oven by its self, you can buy the Volcano and enough fuel for one hot meal a day for a year or more.
3. The Sun Oven takes time to cook anything. Perhaps hours. If you have a family of hungry children, it is quite probable that they are not going to want to wait  hours to eat breakfast.
